“Success isn’t just about ideas—it’s about execution. Innovation happens when people, wisdom, and market insights come together to make things better than they were.”
About Chris Elmore
I’ve spent my career at the crossroads of sales, entrepreneurship, and innovation, helping businesses grow, teams sell better, and leaders think differently. Whether I’m speaking on stage, teaching in the classroom, or writing, my goal is simple: make things better than they were—a definition of innovation I’ve trademarked.
My Journey
It all started with a passion for understanding how people make decisions. That curiosity led me to sales, where I learned how to connect, communicate, and close deals. As the first employee at AvidXchange, I helped build a fintech giant from the ground up. Today, I serve as the Sales Director at Community Financials, where I help property managers and HOAs simplify their financial operations.
But my work doesn’t stop there. I teach Entrepreneurship at UNC Charlotte, challenging students to think beyond the obvious and develop real-world business skills. I’m also an author, with 12 books under my belt—including my latest project, The Convergence Theory of Entrepreneurship, which explores the intersection of innovation, people, wisdom, and market insights.
Speaking & Teaching
I believe the best way to learn is through storytelling, humor, and practical insights. That’s why I bring real-world experience into my speaking engagements, whether it’s a keynote for a Fortune 500 sales team, a classroom of future entrepreneurs, or a podcast breaking down wild financial crime stories.
If you’re looking for someone who can engage, inspire, and challenge audiences, let’s talk. My topics range from sales strategy and leadership to entrepreneurship and innovation, all delivered with energy, humor, and actionable takeaways.
Beyond Business
When I’m not speaking, teaching, or helping businesses grow, I’m usually making music—whether it’s leading worship, performing with Cass & Chris, or breaking out an ‘80s hairband song on my ukulele. I also co-host the podcast True Financial Crimes, where we take a lighthearted look at some of the dumbest financial criminals in history.
At the end of the day, I believe success is about execution, not just ideas. Whether you’re an entrepreneur, a sales leader, or someone looking for a fresh perspective, I’d love to connect and help you level up.
