Just off the back of writing about what accounting automation (invoices and payments) is good for, where I wrote about people, companies and situations that are good for automation… this week I am going to write about different accounting systems and their relationship with accounts payable automation.

The Plan

In the next few days I am going to breakdown three different accounting system types:

Large Systems (ERP)
Medium Size Systems
Small Systems
Homegrown Systems

I know, I should have been much more creative with the naming… just like Starbucks, but I thought I would keep it simple and straightforward, and not apologize for straight talk.
